Every Saturday we meet at the corner of N and 19th street at 9am for a group ride. We often ride the bikeways of Merced or head out to Yosemite Lake to enjoy the vista's and company of other riders. Riders of all skill levels and ages are invited and have regularly participated. Veteran Bicycle Coalition members will lead and "SAG" every ride, making sure that no one is left behind. We regularly regroup at major turns in our route and actively make sure that everyone is comfortable and having a good time! You can also break away from the group at anytime, we just ask that you let the group know. So: Bring out your Beach Cruiser, BMX, Hybrid, Coaster, Road Bike, Mountain Bike or Recumbent... we don't care, as long as we are all out there riding together!
Make sure to wear your helmet!
This Ride generally lasts between 1.5 hours and 2 hours.
Bring a bike lock and a little cash, as we often enjoy gathering together to eat a hearty lunch downtown!

Our next clinic will be announced in the next few months. Check back for details or join our Yahoo-Group to be privy on all happenings of the MBC.
During the Spring, Summer, and into the Fall we all congregate at Bob Hart Square on Main street at 5:30pm to enjoy a short ride together. This ride is aimed at creating bicycle awareness in the community. We take major routes, while always following traffic laws, inviting those we encounter to join us on bicycle! This ride also has a no drop policy and usually lasts about 45 minutes to an hour. Most riders leave as the route nears their homes.
During the winter, the sun sets too early to safely enjoy this group ride together, however many still commute. See the information links on GUIDES AND LINKS. At the top you will find some helpful information complied by one of the bicycle coalition members.
Make sure to wear your helmet!
